New non scratch plastic cleaning rod - ensures that the cleaning rod doesn’t scratch the inside of the head, body or footjoint tube when the player is cleaning moisture away.
Finger grooves on inside of case - Assists player taking flute out of the case without touching the mechanism.

This flute is made of durable nickel silver with an attractive silver-plate finish. It features the same high-grade design and craftsmanship as the 300 and 400 series models, and has excellent response and intonation.

The CY headjoint included with all student flutes features a double flare taper and unique embouchure hole undercut design for excellent response and a warm rich tone.
It helps beginners quickly learn to produce a beautiful sound, while more advanced players will appreciate its even, quick response in all registers.

Yamaha’s special pads resist dehydration or swelling. The double bladder covering ensures perfect seating.

Felt pads are used under keys where tolerances are close for a ‘professional’ feel and silent mechanism.

Neoprene is used where larger stoppers are required for smooth noiseless action.
